The court is out, the bulk of fellas prefer the Brazilian (hairfree) when it comes to women’s ‘downstairs’ self care. In fact, some men even identified hair down there as a ‘turnoff’. However, modern females are not giving into the wants of males; the most popular grooming choice for women is a ‘neatly groomed area’.

In contrast to latest rumours that ‘the bush is back’, 85% of ladies choose to groom their ‘downstairs area’. Of these women, the majority are going for ‘at home’ options to hair eradication.

And if you think Australian women are using winter months as an excuse to “let the grass grow”, you’d be wrong. Over 60% of females ensure their groomed all year round, most sighting partners or ‘unexpected relations’ as the motive for her yearlong plan.

Ladies are going for hair removal laser in droves, in truth when asked if they’d laser hair remove downstairs and go hair free forever, 60% of females dived at the idea of not ever having to groom their downstairs area again.

Oddly enough men are shying away from the below the belt afro too. Downstairs grooming is also the norm for fellas these days, with 64% of men choosing to primp their area. So why is it that men are turning to manscaping, well it’s not the obvious choice of bigger looking parts that tops the list. The fellas chose the simple fact that “sex feels better” as the main reason for self care.

However, the females of Australia will be content to understand a partner’s likes and dislikes rates a close second in the thinking behind grooming decisions. A manzilian master pronounces “if I expect ladies to do it, then I must”.

But while blokes are all for deforestation downstairs, you can’t hope to see them talking hair styles at the pub. 72per cent of blokes probably will not discuss downstairs grooming with their pals / buddies - ala Sex and the City.

And for males looking at impress the women, it’s time to ditch the gorilla suit. Over 1 / 2 of the women of Australia sited a hairy man as a turnoff with back hair as the major male turnoff (over 60%) surprisingly followed by upper body hair, with bottom hair coming in at third.
